Perth to me is a Sunday afternoon in the sun drinking a delicious local beer chatting away happily with the friendly locals. It’s a great, welcoming city and I always love visiting! I am a big fan of Fremantle’s beer scene as you probably noticed by my last instalment : West Coast Beer Trail, Fremantle.
And while Fremantle is an incredible spot to start your Perth experience, there are still plenty of great spots for a brew or two around the rest of this beautiful city, and here they are!

THE SWAN VALLEY
Just half an hour east of Perth you will find yourself in a region called ‘The Swan Valley’. It is here where you can find some of Australia’s best breweries, some of them having won Australia’s most prestigious beer awards (more than once). And that, in my book is worth every reason to pay the region a visit for a day or two!
